All manufacturer's make their main pet containment systems in the 10 Kilohertz frequency range. When two systems in the same frequency range are next to one another, interference can occur. To eliminate the interference, we custom make systems in the 7 Kilohertz range.

A 7 Kilohertz System is needed ONLY if your next door neighbor has any kind of underground containment system and your wires will be running parallel and will be closer than 15 feet. In these situations, the receiver picks up the signal from both systems and the microprocessor becomes confused and the receiver will not respond on that side. The receiver will respond on all other sides of your property.

The 7 Kilohertz Systems are identical to our Deluxe Systems in every way except for the frequency.

  • Five Levels of Programmable Correction
    • Level one is warning only - ideal for initial training or very timid pets
    • Levels two thru four are for easy or average to train pets
    • Level five is for very hard to train or stubborn pets
  • Progressive Correction - if your pet attempts to leave the yard, the receiver will automatically increase the correction level until he returns
  • Low Battery Indicator Light - Lets you know when the batteries need replacing. The #1 cause of  pets leaving a containment system are weak or dead batteries.

• Safety features include:
  • Protection against false signals. Only our transmitter can activate the receiver. Other brands' receivers can be activated by Televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc.  We use filters and coded signals to prevent this.  Don't trust your pet's safety to anything but a PetSafe?   • Receiver Fail-Safe. If your pet gets trapped in the correction zone, the receiver will shut down after 20 seconds to prevent over correction.

• We recommend the 7 Kilohertz System with Deluxe Ultralight Receiver (RF-3006V-7K) for any dog or cat that is 8 pounds or over. With five levels of programmable correction, this is our most versatile and advanced receiver. You can increase or decrease the correction to meet your pet's training needs. At level five, the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver is strong enough for the most stubborn dog. The Deluxe Ultralight Receiver also has a low battery indicator light to let you know when to replace the battery.

• If your dog is 8 pounds or over and trains easily, you may want the 7 Kilohertz System with Ultralight Receiver (RF-3004V-7K). The Ultralight has only one level of correction and does not have the low battery indicator light.
  Receiver Size: 1.5 ounces - 2 x 3/4 x 3/4 inches.
• Less than 1% of dogs need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. If your dog is over 30 pounds and is extremely stubborn or hard to train you may need the 7 Kilohertz System with Stubborn Dog Receiver (RF-3005V-7K). The Stubborn Dog Receiver has only one level of correction that is approximately three times stronger than the Ultralight Receiver.
